Hi Mark,  

There seems to be a gross misunderstanding.  All of those files that will be
maintained by those boards/committees will only be purged by those
boards/committees.  

 

The one year retention is only for the copies that are kept for the
Selectmen.

 

That should clear things up.

Morning everyone,

 

Since the inception of these committees, as a courtesy, I have been filing
the agenda's, minute's and any other documents here at Town Hall.  As it is
each Board/Committees responsibility to ensure that their files are updated
for public viewing, please make note as of May 1, 2009, I will no longer be
maintaining these files.

 

Of course the Selectmen will continue to receive printed off copies of
minutes and documents (specified for their reading) for them to review and
are kept in a specified Selectmen's file and will be retained for one year.

 

Town Hall is open all day on Tuesday's from 8-4 and on Thursday's from
3:30-7:30pm for access or of course any other time that someone may be at
Town Hall.
