Our Mission is encompassed in the following statements:

* To provide, maintain, and develop safe and fun recreational programs to enhance the well-being of the members of the community;
* To build relationships with our community members that will help facilitate program participation;
* To respect not only our program participants but also our fellow committee members, volunteers, and staff;
* To take pride in our resources: we strive to maintain and effectively run our Community Center and facilities; and
* To provide a safe and healthy work and volunteer environment.

The Committee meets once a month on the third Wednesday. Our meetings are open to the public. We meet at the Community Center April - December. During the winter, we meet at the LI School.
 

 

Wednesday 3/10, Monthly Meeting, 7:15pm @the library

Topics include: Town Report, Dept. Policy, Dinner Theater and upcoming spring events. As always, we welcome your input & really, really LOVE your help!

 

Saturday 3/13, “Lock In”, for grades 1 – 5, 7pm

Our famous Moms; Missy & Yvette will host this overnight adventure!

Detailed info will be sent home Thursday.

 

Tuesday 3/16, Gymnastics Exhibition, 7pm

It’s time to celebrate the achievements of our athletes and say ‘thanks’ to the coaches! Cookies & sweet treats are appreciated.

 

Saturday 3/20, Dinner Theater, 7pm

Pot Luck style Dinner & Entertainment! $10/adults, $5/children 6-12

Friday 3/26, Teen Night, 7pm

Dress the part & join Capt. Peter LaMontagne for an exciting evening of playing the “Dread Pirates Game”.

 

 

This month’s events will be held at the Long Island Learning Center

(multipurpose room) unless otherwise noted.
