A point of clarification:

The committee also discussed the requirement to=20
pre-qualify for a mortgage.  The YRHASC had been=20
discussing the possibility that applicants would=20
have to re-apply yearly, as pre-qualification=20
expires after a period of time.  The question was=20
also raised as to whether applicants would have=20
to submit a building proposal to the YRHC and=20
qualify for a sufficient financing to build it,=20
or whether any pre-qualification would be=20
sufficient.  The committee decided to delay=20
further discussion and raise the issue with the=20
YRHASC.

The item is red is not what we discussed. We=20
discussed the YRHC&#x27;s having specific building=20
requirements regarding number of bedrooms, etc,=20
that you had said you would in order to make the=20
housing viable for future owners. We only asked=20
that you provide that info to the applicant so=20
they can apply for a mortgage amount that would=20
cover such a house. It is entirely up to you if=20
you want to review building proposals - we did=20
not suggest that.
