housing cost containment forum on <B>Monday, January 23<SUP>rd</SUP> at

run from 9am-3pm and is intended to offer developers, managers, builders, and
designers of affordable housing an opportunity to learn about both proposed
changes to the state Qualified Allocation Plan to incentivize lower
development and operating costs in low income housing tax credit projects
(through the addition of a significant number of new points for lower project
costs), <I>and</I> <U>specific ways to actually achieve those reduced
costs</U>. Two expert panels, one covering development and the other covering
operating/management costs, will offer ideas and strategies for lowering costs
in LIHTC projects.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
