In both instances, the applications are due in the early fall so we have time to review them together and seek other possible sources of support. </div>

<div>Good Morning All, As you can see below, our application approval is "in the mail". I spoke with Liza yesterday about our next steps, and she and Norm Fecteau (MaineHousing Construction Analyst) who will oversee the actual construction of the homes would like to come out and meet with us, tour the sites, and review house plans. </div>
<div>Needless to say, we need to move even faster than we have been on finalizing the house details before having them out. Our scheduled meeting on Wed. June 15 will continue on that topic.<br>
In further discussion with Liza, the contract and conditions that come with the grant, are detailed and some of what is in there simply will not fit our Island needs. I was surprised to hear that no island has yet begun construction on a house from this grantin part because some of the details are still being modified to fit the island program. All hurdles we will jump as we have others in the past.</div>
<div>As you may know, we have an unexpected opening for one of the houses, so we continue to seek additional applicants for this program. You do not have to be committed to owning the house and do not have to meet the two year requirement to be eligible for the rental option of this program. Please bring forward interested individuals as their input into the house plans are important. Mark</div>
