</SPAN>The Annual YRHCorp Meeting and election of Trustees was held on September
29. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>All current Trustees and
officers were re-elected.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We
are pleased to have Mary McAleney elected as the new \u201cSeasonal Resident
Trustee\u201d.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>

</SPAN>At this meeting, our new Island Institute Fellow, Mary Terry joined us
and met those present and discussed her role as the Casco Bay Island Housing
Fellow.</FONT></FONT></P>

</SPAN>Mary Terry will be part time on Long, Peaks, Chebeague, and Cliff and
focus solely on housing issues and projects on the islands.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>She has been the \u201cHousing Fellow\u201d
on Peaks for the past year and hits the ground running with considerable
experience in this field.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We will
schedule Mary to be at upcoming events so that you can meet
her.</FONT></FONT></P>

</SPAN>The Trustees voted to create a Senior Housing Committee (SHC) under the
YRHCorp to explore interest in housing issues and needs for senior residents (or
seniors to be!).<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It was also agreed
to create a survey for all residents (and perhaps residents who have left) to
see what interest there is in this topic and where we might go.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>This will be the major
initial focus of Mary Terry\u2019s work here.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>

</SPAN>Additionally, she will work to help us continue to bring our land
lease/homestead program to fruition by working to find willing lenders and
additional grant opportunities to assist future housing

</SPAN>Ruth (Chee) Peterson, Mark Greene, and Mary Terry are the initial members
of the new Senior Housing Committee and welcome interested individuals to join
