TOWN OF LONG ISLAND MUNICIPAL ASSISTANT
The Town of Long Island, situated six miles off the coast of Portland, Maine in Casco Bay with a year round population of 212, is accepting resumes for the part-time position of Municipal Assistant. This position is responsible for assisting and representing the Town's Board of Selectmen in various Town activities. Long Island has a Selectmen/Town Meeting form of government with 5 part-time employees and a budget of $1.1 million. The Board is seeking an individual with a strong administrative and organization development experience with human relations skills, preferably in local government. Strong computer skills and grant writing experience are a plus.
